Add-Ons
Legal services are rarely one-and-done. Once the contract is signed, the business is formed, or the trademark is registered, you still need to take action periodically to make sure you don't lose your rights. Continuous Counsel add-ons take care of these ongoing tasks so you can focus on creating.
Business Entity Maintenance
Businesses registered in multiple states face varying maintenance requirements and annual filing deadlines. Missing deadlines can result in loss of good standing status. This add-on includes registered agent service, annual filings, and compliance monitoring for each state where your business is registered.
Monthly Fee: $49
Trademark Monitoring
Regular USPTO database monitoring identifies potential conflicts with your registered trademarks. Early detection of conflicting applications enables strategic enforcement decisions before competitors establish market presence.
Monthly Fee: $49 per mark
Monthly Strategy Meetings
Reserved calendar time each month for strategic planning, complex decision-making, launch preparation, or coordination with your financial team. Structured or unstructured format based on current business needs.

Bulk Hours
Bulk hours give our clients a simple way to manage legal fees. Bulk hours are our time, purchased in advance at a discounted rate. Purchase anticipated hours in advance at discounted rates, use within 12-month period.
When could bulk hours work for you? If you know you have ongoing legal needs and want to schedule predictable payments over the year, you can buy bulk hours in advance to spread the anticipated costs. If you've just received a grant or other payment, consider allocating some of that funding to discounted legal fees with bulk hours.
Bulk hour packages start at 5-hour increments and can be used over a 12-month period. Additional discounts are applied with purchases over 25 hours per year.
For all services discussed above, government fees and legal filing fees are not included and will be invoiced to the client separately.

Creative businesses generating $100K–$1M annual revenue who need regular legal support but don't require a full-time in-house attorney. Ideal clients include production studios, galleries, design firms, creative agencies, independent publishers, and established artists with complex business operations.

Monthly retainer of $395 charged automatically on the first of each month. Project work exceeding routine questions is billed at the reduced rate of $350/hour with extended payment plans available. All fees quoted before work begins.

The retainer continues month-to-month with 30-day cancellation notice. Most clients maintain ongoing retainers because preventive legal infrastructure costs less than reactive crisis management.

The $395 retainer covers routine questions, document review, and administrative support. Not included: complex contract negotiations, litigation, trademark applications, business formation, acquisition documentation, or work requiring more than 30 minutes of attorney time per inquiry. Clients may cancel with 30-day written notice after completing the initial three-month commitment. Pausing retainers is not available—active legal relationships require current knowledge of your business operations. Clients who cancel and later re-enroll must schedule a new Loops & Leaps™ session to rebuild institutional knowledge.

Continuous Counsel provides ongoing infrastructure—the legal equivalent of maintaining your business rather than only repairing it when something breaks. Most clients combine both: monthly retainer for routine needs plus project work for major initiatives.
