His background at Cleary Gottlieb, a leading international law firm, and advising companies like Google, Sony, and T-Mobile mean that he knows how sophisticated businesses structure deals—and he brings that systematic approach to small businesses and creative entrepreneurs navigating acquisitions, restructuring, and growth.

Robert's military leadership (United States Naval Academy, Navy officer, and combat veteran) and experience managing $700M+ operations at the Department of Veterans Affairs provide him the analytical precision clients depend on during high-stakes transitions. He's the calm, methodical strategist who thinks three moves ahead—turning complex business challenges into clear, protective solutions before problems surface.

In addition to an MBA and law degree from Duke University, Robert is also a former college professor, with master's degrees from Georgetown University and St. John’s College.

He enjoys pour-over coffee and Dante’s Comedy. Outside the office, he writes fiction and builds LEGO® modulars.
